This jorongo or full length Mexican poncho is made in Huyeapan, Puebla using very old techniques, such as drop spindle ( malacate). Hand spun and hand made, the colors are achieved using vegetable dyes such as walnut and indigo ( indigofera tinctoria ), one of Mexico's sacred colors.
This piece is entirely handmade.
One size. Dry clean only.
